Warm-up with our Melting Pot Shiraz

If there’s one thing Barossa is famed for, it’s producing quality Shiraz – and Tin Shed Wines is adding to the repertoire with the release of the 2021 Melting Pot Shiraz.

Arguably one of our most popular wines, the 2021 vintage is ‘a true melting pot of dark fruit flavour’ and highlights this varietal's complexities. As always, we recommend sharing and enjoying this wine with good food and great friends, but that’s not to stop you from enjoying a cheeky afternoon glass by the fire – after all, it is the season!

The high-quality organic grapes were sourced from the Western side of the Barossa Valley in Gomersal before being handpicked, destemmed, crushed, and fermented on skins. After seven days in an open fermenter, the wine was pressed before maturing in French and American oak for 14 months. American oak for 14 months.

Our winemaker Peter Clarke describes the Melting Pot Shiraz as, ‘A generous wine representing a great 2021 Barossa vintage. Bright and vibrant, a well-balanced melting pot of dark fruit flavour. Fine tannins with lingering mouthfeel’.

The nose shows blueberries, cinnamon and cloves, while the palate provides slight acidity, blueberries, rhubarb and spice – rounded off with oak and fine tannins. And yep, you can expect the classic vibrant hue of shiraz in our 2021 Melting Pot release.

With minimal intervention and loads of attention – dare to be satisfied with our iconic Melting Pot Shiraz. For only $32 a bottle, this shiraz is a wine for all occasions – but we recommend enjoying it with good food and great friends. So, stock up and warm up with our 2021 Melting Pot Shiraz.
