Our blend of 80 year old Mourvedre and Grenache is co-fermented with spicy Eden Valley Shiraz and wild yeast.
A superb vintage for three vines and 20 months in old oak has captured the fruits of the forest, spice and distinctive earthy notes, mushroom, iodine, pepper, blackberries and plums.
The palate is soft and rich with excellent mouth fill, all the hallmarks the nose delivers, slight liquorice, succulent berries, brown spice, a touch of meatiness and a delicious mix of sweet and savoury with well balanced tannins and acidity.
