The Melting Pot was named by one of the ‘Wild Bunch’ after a few drinks and a think tank. It reflects this blend being a ‘Melting Pot’ of flavours derived from an array of different Shiraz vineyards through Eden Valley as well as a few barrels of Mourvedre and Grenache for funk and spice.
Ageing in old barrels for 12 months has allowed the true terroir of a very difficult vintage show how special Eden Valley is.
The colour is a delicious deep thick purple. The nose has glorious dark heady notes of licorice and black fruits. The palate is warm and smooth with lifted spicy and floral notes after decanting. The length is long and soft with remarkable balance
